Q - What influenced you to buy the property ?
A - We loved that you could see the lake as soon as you stepped inside our front door.  We loved that the house was punctuated with views of water - the middle pond, the sparkling infinity edge pool and the tranquil lake.  We loved the natural light and flow of the house.  We loved having one wing of the house to ourselves. We loved that the house was both grand and modern.
We loved the central position of the suburb Idalia, in Townsville.  Michael used to travel a lot so the crim safe and security system ensured our safety.  To us, it was the perfect North Queensland home.

Q - What advantages are there living in your home?
A - We enjoyed escaping to the theatre room and being able to close the world off.  We loved entertaining inside during the summer but still having the sense of being outside.  We enjoyed watching the sun set by the pool or on the back deck.  There is no morning sun in the Lake side so it is very peaceful out the back deck.  I loved having a bath and watching the television in the master bedroom. I loved having guests/kids stay on the other side of the house.  It was easy to clean.  It was a peaceful house no matter how many people were staying in it.

Q -  When friends and family stay what do they point out as the benefits of your home?
A - The natural energy in the home is light and positive.  Guests loved the layout, the floor, the space in the home and the natural, continuous breeze. The retractable glass doors on both sides of the living area gave us the ability to enjoy fresh air in the summer months.  We loved using the sound system when entertaining.  Mosquitoes were never an issue

Q - What are the best 5 things about your home?

1. The sensation of space, open flow and position of the house.
2. The presence of calming water.
3. Uninterrupted view of the lake.
4. Safety of house.
5. Currently unlived in and has had a $600,00 upgrade - granite kitchen bench top, granite tv cabinet, master bathroom.  Everything is brand new!
